Keeping Your System in Compliance Through the National Transit Database with RTAP covers all aspects of National Transit Database (NTD) reporting, including organizational, operational, financial, service, asset inventory, and safety information.
This 2-day in-person training is being conducted at The Center for Tribal Transportation, 13620 N Saguaro Blvd, Suite 200 Fountain Hills, AZ 85268, USA.
Hosted by the National Rural Transportation Assistance Program (RTAP), this course covers how NTD data is used in funding formulas and how decisions made during NTD reporting can impact formula allocations. The course includes hands-on components where attendees practice accessing their own NTD data and formula data from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) website.
This course is tailored towards tribal transit recipients who generally report using the NTD’s Reduced Reporting requirements. Those elements of NTD reporting that are only applicable to Full Urban Reporters will not be covered, but questions can be answered during Q&A.

The National Rural Transportation Assistance Program (National RTAP) addresses the training and technical assistance needs of rural, and tribal transit operators across the nation, and supports the state RTAP programs.
