Constructing a Quality Crack Treatment teaches participants how to optimize road maintenance resources by selecting proper materials, preparing surfaces, and applying best practices for asphalt preservation.

Hosted by Nevada LTAP, this 2-hour virtual course is key to using an agency’s resources effectively and efficiently. Participants will leave knowing the steps to obtaining a quality crack treatment.

  • Selecting the right projects and materials
  • Conducting adequate crack preparation
  • Applying a treatment following best practices
  • Inspecting the work
  • Identifying and troubleshooting issues that arise during the project

Target Audience:

  • This training is appropriate for anyone who constructs or inspects crack treatments, including crack filling and sealing

The Instructor

Greg Duncan is a Sr Engineer at Applied Pavement Technology with over 30 years of pavement, construction, and roadway maintenance engineering experience.

Greg is a certified NHI instructor teaching “Maintenance Leadership Academy” and “Constructing & Inspecting Asphalt Paving Projects” courses.
